KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS COLOURING CONTEST
The colouring contest is open to all children of the parish as well as the St. aged Pre-K to Gr. 8. Please make sure your name, age, grade and phone number are on the BACK of your creation (not showing).
The Knights of Columbus in our parish are a very active and involved group of dedicated men. In the last six months alone: we purchased 1000 pounds of vegetables and donated them to Siloam Mission. This is also where a group of our Brothers serve the noon meal monthly; in October we organized the Chicken Dinner with the proceeds used for our youth programs, in November we hosted the Remembrance Service and reception for our deceased brothers; ran the Keep Christ in Christmas campaign in December; participated in the Koats for Kids program; provided funds to our Seminarian, bursaries for 2 post-secondary students from our parish and held a free throw basketball tournament in a number of schools in the area.
We regularly visit our Brothers who are sick or in distress, provide rosaries to families at baptisms, Bibles to our catechism students, bursaries of $300 to 2 post-secondary students from the parish and recently with the proceeds from the Fish Fry in March, jointly with the CWL, purchased a defibrillator which has been installed in the entrance of the church.

JOIN THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.
We are Catholic men building a bridge back to faith. There is much good and necessary work to be done in this world, and that’s what Knights do every day.
Ask about what we’re up to and how you could easily join us. Many new knights only start helping with 1 or 2 projects a year and work up to more as they have more time/availability – we are thrilled to accept new Knights who can only offer a handful of hours a year!
